Hello good people, I was trying to append 4 excel files and this is where I've landed. I can ammend this by editing the source file. But what happens when there are lots of files and editing source files is near impossible. I want your suggestion to solve this thing in power query. This is the source file that will help you. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IbJ93X7kdS-gYUwlLjq5onaSzlwlONLY?usp=sharing
Hi @Anik
The column headers in each table are slightly different from others. Will it have more possible similar names for every column in the future? Will columns have different orders in different tables?

@Anik Seems like you would have to use Table.FirstValue https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerquery-m/table-firstvalue prior to append step that, depending on the outcome renamed the columns in question. Then, with the renamed columns, they will append into the correct columns.
