Cannot connect to Amazon Redshift

Hi there,

I am trying to connect powerbi report (from NetSuite) with Amazon Redshift. I have entered credentials as ususal but it doesn't works. Any suggestions are welcome

Has anyone managed to fix this? I also have the same problem (I'm using panoply.io which builds on Redshift).

I am also having problems with amazon redshift connection. 

I am getting this error: 

Details: "ODBC: ERROR [08S01] [Microsoft][Amazon Redshift] (10) Error occurred while trying to connect: [SQLState 08S01] SSL SYSCALL error: Software caused connection abort"

Does anyone know how to solve this error?

Hi @aumquaje,

What error message do you get? Please go to “File –> Options and Settings –> Data Source Settings”, under “Global permissions”, select any old Amazon Redshift data source connections and click on clear permission in Power BI Desktop, then connect to it and check if it is successful.

I am facing the same problem, i can connect to redshift successfully on Power BI desktop but unable to do the same online when i publish my workbook, any work around for this? Please help.
