Calculating Sum or Measurements

I have columns with Fiscal years, and Periods with Amounts for specific accounts.  I want to be able to total up the latest Fiscal year and period for specific accounts.  What would be the appropriate DAX code that could change month over month (period over period) or fiscal year over fiscal year?
