Calculate measure with a filter

Hi everyone,

I am trying to create 9 box view. In particular I am looking at the calculaled field (headcount %) that changes depending on the filters applied. for instance, I have a total headcount of 2596 and in a specific group I have a pool of 18 employees the % headcount is 18/2596  but how could I do it that when I applied a filter the % is calculated based on the specific headcount and not on the total one? And that this calculation applies to other 9 different tables?

Thank you

Miriam

@miriambb Maybe:

% HC = DIVIDE(CALCULATE(SUM(Euro1[Headcount])),
                CALCULATE(SUM(Euro1[Headcount]),ALLEXCEPT(Euro1,Euro1[Department]))) + 0

@miriambb Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.

@Greg_Deckler thank you and my apologies,

this is our calculated field

% HC = DIVIDE(CALCULATE(SUM(Euro1[Headcount])),
                CALCULATE(SUM(Euro1[Headcount]),ALL(Euro1))) + 0

we would like any filters such as Department so the % is calculated it based on that headcount rather than from the total headcount as it is now.

Thank you
and please let me know if this helps
