Hi all,
I have created a report that shows client health metrics and status updates. In my dashboard, when you select a client name in the slicer, a PowerPoint slide poppulates with the latest client update. All of this is pulled from our Organization's SharePoint site in a certain folder.
In Power BI Desktop, the pictures do not poppulate. I am ok with this and am aware other folks run into this issue. When I put it in our Workspace and pinned to a dashboard, it works immedietly. You can see the image.
Though after some time, maybe tomorrow I log in and want to look again. I go to Power BI Service to our workspace, and the images are no longer poppulating for whatever reason.
Out of pure curiosity, I cleared my browser's cache, and all of the sudden everything works again... Is there any work around here? I'm having trouble understanding why this is happening and how I can solve this issue so I don't have to be on top of this 24/7. If anyone has any insight, please share.
Thank you!
Hi @Anonymous
Where are the images stored? How do you populate the report with these images? Can you provide a sample pbix (removing sensitive info) or share the steps to reproduce this scenario?
Currently with the limited info, I don't know how to create a sample to test this. And I'm curious about the PowerPoint slide in your dashboard and not sure what is that. Maybe I have missed some features in Power BI. Can you help me understand the scenario you have?
Thank you!
