Autorefreshing power query data in excel on a weekly basis

Hi,

So this might not be a conventaional Power BI question but I would really appreciate any answers to the below question:

I have a power bi excel data source that is using power query(another uses pivot tables).

Power BI file auto refreshes from Powr BI service however the excel source doesn't autorefresh.

I want the excel workbook to autorefresh the data on a weekly basis without I opening the excel file

How can i do this?

Hi @klehar ,

About auto refresh power query data in excel, you can try to use VBA script, refer:

  1. Refresh Pivot Table Automatically when Source Data Changes
  2. Auto Refresh PivotTables & Queries
