Appt Queue Dashboard for multiple stages and avg times

I am trying to build a daily appointment queue. There are 5 stages in this queue. I am tasked with reporting the average time between each stage, and the average time of the appointment in total.

I am having the most trouble with reporting the count of records in each stage, as a record cant exist in muliple stages at a a time. I do not know where to start in my calculations.

Each stage is timestamped.

Hi @chrisx ,
Sorry for replying late. You can create two measures to calculate:

Avg for stage =
CONVERT (
    CALCULATE (
        AVERAGE ( 'Table'[Timestamped] ),
        FILTER ( ALL ( 'Table' ), 'Table'[Stages] IN DISTINCT ( 'Table'[Stages] ) )
    ),
    DATETIME
)
Total avg = CONVERT(AVERAGE('Table'[Timestamped]),DATETIME)

Attached a sample file in the below, hopes to help you.
