Appending remaining files if some are missing

Hello!

I am loading and processing several files/connections and then I append them into one table.

One of the files gets this error:

Expression.Error: There weren't enough elements in the enumeration to complete the operation.
Details:
[Table]

This is because no file matching my criteria is found but it is fine that the Append query will continue without this table.

How can I enable that?

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous

If a table doesn't exist, you could replace it with an empty table #table({},{}) and use this empty table in Table.Combine. Empty table could be appended to other tables.

emptyTable = #table({},{}),
AppendTable = Table.Combine({Table3, Table2, emptyTable})

Post your M code using the CODE box (the </> button) above.

You need to test for no records in that table and then bypass it if necessary with an if/then/else statement. For example, if Table.RowCount(TableName) > 0 then Table.Append(Table1, Table2) else Table1.

But that is probaly overly simplistic. So we need a bit more info.
