Hi,
we are running Power BI Desktop on an Amazon work space environment. We are using a direct query to ingest data from a Teradata database also held on Amazon.
I can connect to the database and pull in some semantic views. However when launching any visualisation the data refuses to load into the visualisation giving the standard error message about not being able to view the visualisation.
i decided to import in a txt file to test that import method and again no visualisation worked due to the same issue.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Does anyone use Amazon Work Space as an environment to host Power BI desktop?
thanks in advance for any help.
@Bryanmcguireuk,
Could you please post the full error message?
Moreover, please make sure that the machine you install Power BI Desktop meets the requirements described in this article.
Regards,
Lydia
