Hello all!
I often run PQ on large datatsets because I need the flexibility of a Pivot table to drill down into certain fields. The dataset in question is almost 10 million rows and takes forever to run!
I have 32GB of ram available but excel often doesn't use the ram until it eventually completes the computations and loads everything to the pivot tables. How can I increase the amount of ram available to PQ so that I can get faster data processing?

Hi @umairshariff23 ,
Please take a look at this blog:

This blog explains how to reduce unnecessary memory waste.

Thank you for sharing the blog. However, the blog seems to only address how I can minimize the amount of meemory used by PQ. On the other hand, I'm looking for a way to give more memory to my PQ.
From my workflow, it seems like the speed of the query is limited by the mashup container using very little memory. I've done everything the blog (and other blogs) have mentioned but I still cannot find a way to increase the memory used by Excel PQ
I did come across this article! However, since this is tailored towards Power BI, I don't know how to adapt it to Excel PQ.
