Hello all,
I'm able to connect to an API for energy data, whereby every day new data comes available. At the moment I call every day all the data, also the already available data. Is there a way to add the data of the last for example 7 days to the existing data in power bi?
Looking forward!
Hi @bart1990 ,
If your api can support define the date parameter such as &date=YYYY-MM-DD or other parameter associate with date, we can use it in power query editor to get data from a range, but if this api can only get the data of current day, we think it will be better to use other application to store it in your database every day then use power bi to get data from this database.
Best regards,
@v-lid-msft I can add the startdate and enddate to the call, so that is not a problem.
Is it possible to create a query which refreshed only at the beginning of the month, while all the other query refresh direct? If this is possible I can combine the table with old data with the new data.
I think you need PowerBI Premium for that:
