I noticed that the "Analyze In Excel" download link now auto detects what bit-ness your OS is. However, the bit-ness of Office does not match the bit-ness of my OS. Is there a place where I can get a standalone 32-bit installer?
Hi @jlee0,
Do you mean the download link of Analyze in Excel update? What issues do you encounter when using the “Analyze in Excel” feature in Power BI Service?
When we first use Analyze in Excel, we will be prompted to download and run Excel updates, this initiates installation of the SQL_AS_OLEDDB.msi Windows installer package. You can get 32-bit installer of SQL_AS_OLEDDB.msi from this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52676 .
Moreover, based on my test, after installing 64-bit SQL_AS_OLEDDB.msi Windows installer package, I am able to use Analyze in Excel feature without any issues even if my Office is 32-bit and my OS is 64-bit.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
