How to add UNICHAR icons in Power BI using measures

In this article, we’ll explore how to use UNICHAR icons in Power BI reports. These icons are beneficial because they are lightweight text characters rather than image files, making them efficient and easy to implement.
We can find the UNICHAR codes and their corresponding icons in this link ( https://www.vertex42.com/ExcelTips/unicode-symbols.html ).

We just need to create a measure (example below):

Icon_Measure = UNICHAR(10024)

Advantages of using UNICHAR icons:

- They load quickly and don't increase the file size.

- No need of external URLs or uploads

- Can use DAX logics to return different data icons based on data conditions and conditional formatting
