I'm working on a pipeline in Microsoft Fabric, where I want to execute a stored procedure in the destination warehouse and pass parameters to it. Here’s the stored procedure I’ve created:
CREATE PROCEDURE Sales.MyStoredProcedure
@CustomerName NVARCHAR(100) = NULL,
@EmailAddress NVARCHAR(100) = NULL
AS
BEGIN
SELECT *
FROM Sales.Dim_Customer
WHERE (@CustomerName IS NULL OR CustomerName = @CustomerName)
AND (@EmailAddress IS NULL OR EmailAddress = @EmailAddress);
END;
In the pipeline's stored procedure activity, under "Settings," I can add "Stored procedure parameters." However, when I try to add my parameters (@CustomerName and @EmailAddress), the dropdown doesn’t seem to recognize these parameter names, and I’m unable to map values effectively.
Could someone explain how I should configure this in the pipeline to pass parameters correctly? Is there a specific step I’m missing, or do I need to set it up differently for the parameters to be detected automatically?
Thank you.
