See the dashboard in the local time in each time zone

Hello,

I have a dashboard with an histogram wich has last 7 days on the x-axis. This dashboard is published in own website, through Power Embedded. The question is: would each costumer see the report in his local time?

e.g. in Italy it's 08:00 PM of 10 May and in Sydney it's 04:00 AM of 11 May: in the histogram, would the user in Italy see the days between 4 and 10 of May and the user in Sydney see the days between 5 and 11 of May?

Which action I must take in order to guarantee the correct visualization for each time zone?

Hi @Elisa_A,

Current the time zone in the power bi service is effectively always set to UTC, it not support auto transform by ip. (It is a feature which still in develop)

Reference:

Time in PBI Service is inconsistent with the local time (non-UTC time) displayed in PBI Desktop  

I'd like to suggest you submit the requirement to "ideas" forum.

Actually, I referred to the Embedded Service and not to the Power BI Service. So, how could I apply the suggestion of the link to my case? Thanks,

Hi @Elisa_A,

It told that use power query "DateTimeZone.SwitchZone" function to convert the default time to specify timezone. (Add custom column, use "DateTimeZone.SwitchZone" in design panel)

BTW, above function can transfer datetime to specific timezone, but it not support to dynamic convert datetime to local.
