PowerBI Login Issue:

I am not able to login in PowerBI android app. It shows “Action Blocked: This action is not allowed by your organisation” when I click on sign in.

Below is the error copied.

Hi @HarshilAP ,

I agree with Expiscornovus, you should reach out to your organisation's IT department.

Power BI can run on a number of different Android devices, running the Android 8.0 operating system or later. To check on your device, go to Settings > About device > Android version.

In addition, have you tried logging into this account in Power BI Servicce or Power BI Mobile Aps on another phone?

Best Regards,

Stephen Tao

Hi @HarshilAP,

It looks like your company is blocking access to the Power BI service via the android app. The error message cleary mentions that.

My suggestion would be to reach out to your organisation's IT department if this not expected behaviour.

Some users are able to open the report which few are facing this issues

It is possible to target this type of policy to a specific set of users via something like Intune.

See an example of that in the below thread.

https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Query/Is-there-a-way-to-restrict-Power-BI-mobile-app...

If that type of policy has been setup within your org the users who are facing this issue would need to be excluded from this blocking policy.

But again, first double check if you have this type of policy in your organization.
