Multiple Files within APP

Hi,

I have two separate desktop files published to the same workspace and I want them to be separate files within the app.   When I add a new file to the app, I can only seem to navigate to the first file.  How do I accomplish this so I have two files within the app?

Thanks

Hello,

To have two separate files within the app, you need to ensure each file is uniquely identified and accessible. Here’s how you can do it:

Rename Files: Make sure each file has a unique name before publishing them to the workspace. This helps in distinguishing them within the app.
Publish Separately: Publish each file individually to the workspace. In Power BI, for example, you can do this by selecting File > Publish > Publish to Power BI and choosing the appropriate workspace.
Check Navigation: Ensure that the app’s navigation settings allow access to both files. You might need to adjust the navigation pane or menu to include links to both files.
Verify Permissions: Make sure that the permissions for each file are set correctly so that they are visible and accessible within the app.
By following these steps, you should be able to navigate to both files within the app.

Hope this will help you.
Best regards,

Hi,

When I add the second file into content and then click on update app, it does so successfully.    The problem is when I view the app from the link provided or just from the browser, I only get access to the first file.  Is there another step that I am missing to get two separate files in the app?  Thanks
