App not updating
Hi abcMaria,
Thank you for confirming and for sharing the screenshots. Since the report has been removed from the workspace, is no longer present in the App navigation, the App has been republished, and the issue is reproducible for all users (including in an InPrivate session), we can likely rule out common causes such as browser caching, outdated report links, or an App navigation misconfiguration. Under normal circumstances, the removed report should no longer be displayed when opening the App, so the behaviour you're seeing is unexpected.
The fact that the "ghost" report is fully interactive and continues to display current data indicates that it is not simply a cached image. To help narrow this down further, could you please confirm whether the report was renamed, replaced, or deleted and recreated at any point? Also, if possible, please share the App ID, Workspace ID, and the App URL (masking any sensitive information), along with whether the App uses a custom Home/Landing page. This information will help determine whether the issue is related to the App's published configuration or if further investigation is required.
Hope this helps. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to reach out us. We will be happy to help.
App has been updated/republished
App landing page is the new report
Private Incognito still shows the old dashboard
Users are using the App url sent to them when the first report was issued, the goals of this app url is that doesnt need to be changed as the App should update the content if a dashboard is removed/added.
If I unpublish the App and republish, wil it change the original URL? The one that users have saved?
Hi abcMaria,
Thank you for confirming those details. Since the App has already been republished, the landing page is configured to the new report, Incognito mode shows the same behaviour, and users are accessing the App URL rather than a direct report URL, we can likely rule out common causes such as browser caching, outdated bookmarks, or an App landing page misconfiguration.
Regarding your question, updating an App does not change the App URL. Before considering unpublishing and republishing the App, could you please confirm whether the deleted report has been completely removed from the workspace and no longer appears anywhere in the App navigation settings? Additionally, does the issue occur for all users, including workspace admins/members, and could you share screenshots of the App navigation configuration and the report that appears when opening the App URL? This information will help determine whether the App is still referencing removed content or if additional investigation into the App configuration is required.
Hope this helps. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to reach out us. We will be happy to help.

The report is not on the workspace
Is not on the navigation settings
It occurs to all users
app:
ghost screen: this dissapears as soon as I click on the menu on the left, and never comes back, well until the app url is used again. the weird thing is that the ghost report actually works, is not a still image, it updates with the latest data
