To begin working in the Microsoft Fabric workspace and connect a warehouse to SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), open SSMS, and the Connect to Server window will appear. If SSMS is already open, you can manually connect by selecting Object Explorer > Connect > Database Engine.

Could you please let us know what is office sql database that you are using? Is it MS Access or MS SQL, not that clear.
