Hi @LSPrab ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
An Eventhouse cannot be deleted if it has active dependencies. To proceed with deletion, ensure all dependencies are removed. First, stop or delete any active Event Streams. Next, disconnect any Pipelines, Notebooks, or Power BI reports linked to the Eventhouse. Once all dependencies are cleared, you should be able to delete it successfully.
As an Admin, you might still need specific permissions to delete an Eventhouse. Go to Microsoft Fabric → Eventhouse → Manage Permissions, and check that your account has "Owner" or "Contributor" access. Once verified, try deleting the Eventhouse again.

I had the same problem with Eventhouse created for Monitoring. I am a workspace admin and I don't see the Delete option. I found out that you have to delete it at Workspace settings > Monitoring > Delete.
This is the answer. Thank you
Yes, it was the same for me. It was not clear to me, that the Eventhouse was created by the Workspace.
I am also searching for this menu. Cant manage any permissions for Eventstream or KQL database and so on.
Nor do I have the delet option here:
I cannot access any button to stop the running process and I do not have the Delet option in the context menu...
Any idea on how I can remove the Eventhouse from my Workspace ?

Hello,
Not sure if anyone found the solution. But both the Monitoring Eventhouse and Monitoring Eventstream can be deleted through workspace setting.
Go to workspace setting >> Monitoring >> deletedatabase option should be available at the bottom.
Interesting. Would you mind sharing the screenshot of
