Beacause I have values in the range of 1000, 100, and 10, this plot looks odd.... is it possible to have the y-axis having 0, 5, 1k, 1.5k, 2.5k, 5k? so that those smaller values would not be suppressed?

In 100% stacked column chart it's not possible to display Y-axis lables as in numbers format.
If you see above image, in 100% stacked bar chart it's showing only percentages(1). I recommend you use normal stacked column chart(2) to show Y-axis lable values in to number format, if your requirement fulfills.
Thank you!
