Yesterday I noticed that if either the folder path in S3 contains a dash or if the name of the shortcut does, Fabric will not recognize the Delta table and present an error message that I should create a files shortcut instead. Below is a screenshot of the S3 folders and my table structure within the Lakehouse. Only the S3 folder structure of "uber" worked with my Delta tables.S3 Folder structure

Hello @jobender
Thanks for using the Fabrics community .
I had a hunch that the may be the alphanumeric character in the container name / folder name is making the things fail . Since I dont have a the S3 instance I tested the same with Azure and it works .
I will request you to please go ahead and work with Microsoft support on this .

Thanks
