Shortcut to lakehouse files on a notebook
Hi,
I posted a question sometime ago and I am wondering if there is already any solution offered.
I am loading some delta files using a notebook since that format is not offered on the pipeline copy activity.
I dont want to create the table after reading the delta files but land the files then create a shortcut.
I am wondering if there is a way to create a shortcut to those ingested files on the lakehouse.

Hi @yllsuarez76
Thanks for using Fabric Community.
Apologies, I could not understand your ask. Can you please explain further? You want to upload files into the Lakehouse and then create a shortcut to these files?

Hi @yllsuarez76
You can ingest the files into Lakehouse using Notebooks using Spark API and Pandas API.
Load data into your Lakehouse with a notebook - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
After ingesting the files you can create a shortcut manually or by using API.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/fabric/core/onelake-shortcuts/create-shortcut?tabs=HTTP
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further queries.
