Shared semantic model is not able to edit relationships or columns

I have a master data semantic model published in the fabric environment through the Power BI desktop. I want to connect to only selected entities, edit relations, and select columns between the selected entities based on the need of the report and I need to create five different reports in this way. Please suggest the best way to approach this scenario.

I tried to select only particular entities by directly connecting with the shared semantic model but was not able to select the columns or edit relationships of the source data set. Please suggest me a better way to have one semantic model to maintain in the workspace instead of creating five different data models for each report.

Hi @anusha_2023

Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.

As I understand, you have a master data semantic model published in Power BI Desktop accessible through the fabric environment. You want to create five separate reports, each focusing on specific data subsets.

Unfortunately, the Fabric Community only supports questions related to the Fabric platform itself.

However, I can point you in the right direction to get help!

You can try submitting your question in a new thread on this forum: Power BI forums - Microsoft Fabric Community.

Hope this is helpful. Please let me know incase of further queries.
