Hi all,
I've been using Microsoft Fabric in our premium capacity for the last 5 months and have created numerous artifacts to migrate legacy dataflows into Dataflow Gen2, then to Warehouse/Lakehouse/Pipelines. I created the last warehouse yesterday, on 01/08/2024.
This morning, when I attempted to create a pipeline in the workspace within our premium capacity, I encountered an issue. I found that I couldn't create any new Fabric items (Dataflow Gen2, Pipeline, Warehouse, etc.) anymore. A popup window informed me that I must either purchase Fabric capacity or start a free trial for 60 days.
Fortunately, I can still use all the existing Fabric items I had previously created before this issue, but I cannot create any new ones. This limitation has significantly diminished my capabilities.
I've started the free trial to keep me going for a while, but this isn't any ways, a long term solution.
I wish to understand if this issue is related to our current licensing (premium capacity) or if someone in our IT department has unintentionally included me in a security group that restricts the creation of Fabric items. Your confirmation will help me to understand & convey the issue for a swift fix.
Thank you for your assistance.
Regards
Tahmid

Hi @Yusuf7 ,
This is a known issue that may be relevant.
Known issue - Creating or updating Fabric items is blocked - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
An organization's computing capacity may have exceeded its limits. When this happens, it may prevent the creation or update of fabric entries. You will need to consult with your fabric administrator to see if this is the case.
