MS Fabric - Trial Version - Home Page only shows Power BI

MS Fabric - Trial Version - Home Page only shows Power BI. I am the Global Admin, I am in the UK South region meaning those workloads are available. I cant do the following which are all related;

1. Can't see Data Engineering, Data Factory, Synapse and the others on the Home screen. All I see is Power BI.

2. Can't see these same in the bottom left hand corner of MS Fabric

3. Can't create a Workspace with the trial license that I have 

I have tried everything and spent several hours following a tutorial and this is just not working? 

Can anyone help?

@suparnababu8 Please find a screenshot attached which shows that i am not able to select the trial license and associate it with a workspace.

@suparnababu8 Many thanks for responding to mine. Very grateful. I see, so the changes are normal. That is fine. When I create a workspace, the trial button is greyed out.

Hi @dnkansah 

You have to wait couple of seconds to enable the Trail version. Intially it shows me also grade out. Pls watch this video - https://youtu.be/ImnznCmwGH0

Once more thanks for helping out. I waited more than a few seconds ( rather minutes ) and it didnt change.

I have tried this on my Mac and then on my Windows machine.

I have also watched the 16 second video.

It hasn't worked for me.

Apologies for the issue caused.

Bases on the the screenshot shows the "Create a Workspace" interface in Microsoft Fabric, where you cannot select the Trial license mode for associating with a workspace. This might be due to certain restrictions or prerequisites within your environment.

• Ensure that your Fabric Trial license is properly activated. You can check this by navigating to Settings > Manage licenses in the Microsoft Fabric or Power BI admin portal.
• Your organization might have set restrictions on using Trial licenses or creating workspaces under specific license types. Contact your admin to confirm the license configurations.
• Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then refresh the page.If the issue continues, switch to another browser or use incognito mode to rule out browser-specific problems.
• If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider reaching out to How to create a Fabric and Power BI Support ticket - Power BI | Microsoft Learn for assistance. Provide them with details of the problem, including screenshots.

@v-aatheequeUnfortunately, I dont have a Support Plan. It looks like the trial license is only for Power BI and not for the others. I am tempted to cancel the trial and try for another.......

• The issue you're experiencing is because the trial license is limited to Power BI and does not cover other services. Without an active support plan, you may not be able to create a new trial workspace.
• You can cancel your current trial and try to start a new one, but keep in mind that some trial licenses can only be activated once per account.

Thanks for reaching out to me on this, much appreciated.

I have tried all of these including running this from different browsers and using incognito.

I had a look at the license again and it shows the same thing, I have a trial license with 56 days left. When I checked again, it has jumped up to 59 days! Weird.

I also had a look at subscriptions and under licenses, I can see;

Microsoft Fabric(Free)

Purview Discovery

Exchange Foundation

Power BI(free)

But I can't create workspaces for the other apps and use the trial license.

 I am the Admin of the Organisation😁 and thus have all the power over licenses.

There are definitely unseen restrictions on this and will go ahead and raise a ticket as you suggested.

Few days back Micorosft changed the selection of Fabric items in the bottom left corner.

If you see above image, Pls select fabric, the you will navigate to fabric home page like below

Now you can create whatever you want from this. Make sure that before creating Fabric items, workspace should be assigned to traule license. Pls have a look on below picture
