For how long time can a capacity be paused?
If I understand correctly, we can pause a capacity and there will not be any costs while the capacity is paused, other than any running storage costs, and also a one-time payment for any accumulated overages and smoothed consumption at the time when the capacity gets paused.
I'm wondering, is there any maximum duration for pausing a capacity? Can I keep a capacity paused for, say, 5 years?
Thanks!

Hi @frithjof_v,
Current I haven’t found any documents mention the limitations that you pause the fabric capacity, I think you can pause it as you wish.
Notice:
Since the fabric capacity contents are stored on azure side, you still need to pay for OneLake storage.
If you choose reservation mode, this cost will be payment even if you pause or not use capacity in the reservation date range. (you can cancel the subscription before it expired, and it will return the refund based on CU usage percentage) When this subscription expired, it will switch to 'pay as you go' mode.
