As the tittle suggested, delete activity failed when I tried to delete files in a Folder type data gateway connected to an on-premises data gateway. Copy activity using the same data gateway works just fine.
The error is: "Failed to execute delete activity with data source 'FileServer' and error 'Error occurred when trying to access the file in Folder 'E:\[FolderName]\[FileName].txt', File filter: ''.
The directory name is invalid.
'. For details, please reference log file here: ."
Feels like it is something very specific with delete activity in Fabric. Anyone has the same issue?

Hi @quyendang
You can give the folder path without metioning the E. for example insted of using the E:\[FolderName]\[FileName].txt', File filter:
You may use [FolderName]\[FileName].txt and it may work.
If you havn't refered this, Please refer this thread azure - ADF Delete Activity not deleting Folders - Stack Overflow It may helps you.
Please let me if it works.
Thank you!
