Connecting elasticsearch using python client

I have python code working on my computer.

from elasticsearch import Elasticsearch
es = Elasticsearch(
    hosts=[{'host': 'ip', 'port': 9200}],
    http_auth=('name', 'username'),

)

I want to run on the notebook of fabric. It is giving timeout error which may be because the ip is accesible using my computer. I have installed gateway on my computer. What should I do?

The code works if you run the notebook with Vs code extension
