An exception occurred: We were unable to find a database provider with invariant name 'MySql.Data.My

Hello Team,

When I am trying to establish connection to bring my on premise data to fabric using pipeline activity through copy data , i am getting this below error.

Steps:

1. Login to Fabric

2. Go to pipeline (selected my pipelinename)

3. Click on copy data - Add to Canvas

4. Connection - select more

5. select source dropdown as more

6. selected database as MySQL database

7. Entered Server, database, creacted new connection, selected datagateway and entered other basic details.

8. click on connect and then facing below error.

Error: "An exception occurred: We were unable to find a database provider with invariant name 'MySql.Data.MySqlClient'."

Installed with MySQL workbench with 8.0.41 and using MS SQL Connector Net 8.0.28

I tried to download the same connector as 8.0.41, but could not get the download. Tried with 9.2, it did not help.

host name tried as localhost and 127.0.0.1

Please help here, thank you.

Net 8.0.28 is safe.  Using Localhost is not an option here.  Needs to be a FQDN or IP address that is visible from the gateway cluster members.
