6 years agoHi! Can you please reopen or address this comment and the one below? We need Show Markers functionality for Continuous Axis, not just for Categorical Axis. This is really a prerequisite for any sort of science/engineering work. Here’s why: 1. Category axis doesn't provide sufficient point density to display many/most data sets without scrolling (therefore we must use continuous axis in the vast majority of our use cases – ie any sort of timeseries data with Date or DateTime axis). 2. We need to be able to show discrete points, not connected by a line. Often there are gaps in real world timeseries data. We typically cannot connect the dots across these gaps. That is, there is no value/data point in the gap, so plotting a straight line in the gap is misleading/Wrong. With the May 2018 update we can now Set Stroke Width to Zero (thank you!!). So that’s half the battle. Now we need to Show the Markers! 3. We also need smaller Marker Size (<5), and the ability to Turn Off Marker Fill Thank you!
