**BUG** Please fix web model editor UI not working with role-playing dimensions
A key part of complex semantic models is the ability to reuse tables for scenarios like role-playing dimensions (e.g., Date table for DOB, Date table for SalesDate). I've specifically run into this when working with DirectLake semantic models and "duplicating" tables in the model using TMDL (see Chris Webb's blogpost).
However, once you do this, you can't edit the model in the Fabric UI because it errors out due to the same SourceID being referenced (presumably because the same table is referenced).
{"code":"InvalidOperationException","message":"Duplicate sourceId detected: ..."}
You can still use the model in reports and edit the model in Desktop, but you can't open in the Fabric UI at all.
Not being able to easily add the same table multiple times is a noticeable gap (definitely with DirectLake semantic models) compared to traditional Import mode and requires "hacky" workarounds such as duplicating tables in the DB. Please fix so tables can be reused under different aliases or, at least, that models where this has been done via TMDL can still be viewed.
