Hi,
Would like to know what solution it takes to ingest events collected and processed in EventStream into a Fabric SQL database.
In Azure Stream Analytics this is supported, while SQL is currently not a supported output in EventStream.
Please advice.
gr.
Gijsbert
Hi @Gijsbert,
This is not currently supported. I recommend you submit an idea here: Fabric Ideas - Microsoft Fabric Community
In the meantime, you can push the data to a lakehouse and then have a pipeline copy it over every 5 or 10 minutes - not as realtime as the eventstream, but possibly enough for what you're needing?
If you found this helpful, consider giving some Kudos. If I answered your question or solved your problem, mark this post as the solution.
Hello Gijsbert, Correct this is not a currenlty supported destination ( Fabric SQL database as a destination). Please ensure it is added and/or vote for it if already on the fabric ideas site. (aka.ms/fabricideas). What is your use case? Alternatively, you could explore loading the data into Eventhouse or using Lakehouse as a destination and using the SQL endpoint to query the data.
