pbiazure://api.powerbi.com Excel Connection

Hi,

I have an excel file currently plugged into one of my power bi datasets using pbiazure://api.powerbi.com. We been using this excel file for years, however recent we started to add new tables, measurse & fields to our dataset and they aren't showing when the excel file is refreshed. When we add new date to the existing tables it shows.

Can anyone provide insight on how to get these new tables, measurse & fields to show in my excel connected file?

Thanks!

Does your connection say MDX or DAX? In case of MDX you should be able to see cube changes upon refresh.

It is, I ended up have to close out of all my excel files and reopen and refresh. That did the trick.
