X-Axis Showing time on a date only field

I have a date which from the SQL source was already date data type. Again I changed the data type to date in Power Bi, but for some reason it is still using it on my x-Axis and I can't find a work around. The wierdest thing is that if I use another date with the same exact settings and data type I can get it to work. Any advice?

I feel like this should be something that can be controlled but I'm okay with showing the full date instead of Month/day only. Thanks for the help @Anonymous

Hi @Anonymous 

I create a sample and have a test in old version desktop in June and in latest version desktop. I will get the same result like yours. I think you use continuous type in X axis, then too few dates and too large visual size will casue this.

Here I have two advise.

1. Use Categorical type in X aixs. 

2. Keep Continuous type in X aixs. Reduce the size of your visual then your result will show as you want.
