I went through this Board and realize there is barely any support from Microsoft helping us in custom visual, answering any questions. And their documentations are neither out of date for pbiviz 2.5 or incomplete.
I suppose we are all paid customer and deserved a little bit attention, no?

If you post in the Custom Visuals Development Discussion forum, the team do monitor that and respond to questions there. They don't typically visit the Development forum. You can also email pbicvsupport@microsoft.com with questions.
I do agree with you though: the documentation is woefully out of date and we pretty much have to figure a lot of it out ourselves.
I hope that this gives you some more options at getting some more timely responses.
