It's a system field. We recommend not to use it.

You should use dataView.metadata.columns to identify a type. Each MetadataColumn has the type property that has boolean flags that indicate a type.

Is it any possibility to identify the field datatype from custom visuals? Just we want to fetch/identify the datatype of the user selected fields.
