Visual bullet chart won't compile in Developer Tools

If I import the bullet chart pbviz into https://app.powerbi.com/devTools I receive an error:  Compilation Error in Your Visual.   How was the create bullet chart pbviz created if it won't compile?

I was able to get this to compile by changin all the lets to var.  I think it has something to do with the version of typescript used in the developer tools

I've encoutered the same.  Devtools requires a lot of search/replace for complex visuals built in Visual Studio. Help us move it up the priority list:
