Hi all,
We're trying to see which tables are used in a dataset. Right now we're trying to achieve this with the API. We want to use the option to list all tables. This works fine for with the API created datasets, but for datasets that come from reports that are designed in Power BI Desktop (all of them unfortionately) we get this error message:
..... is not a push api dataset
In the datasets window in Power BI web interface API-Access has value --.....
Is this not possible at all? Or are we doing something wrong?

At this moment, the REST API Get Tables only supports to get tables from the datasets created via REST API as well. It is not supported to get tables from a dataset published from Power BI desktop. You can submit your idea at Power BI Ideas and vote it up.

Now, I assume it's still true?
