Tooltips with Purview

Hi,

We are trying to include definitions in a Power BI report. The definitions are extracted from Purview and put into a static table. (This consists of 300+ definitions) which are not all relevant in each report. We would like to display a single row from this table into the current power bi tooltip. The  default tooltip currently diplays the  data point's value and category. We would like to add the purview definitions to this tooltip

  • Is it possible to filter the table to include the definitions relevant to the report into the tooltip?

Thanks,

I have tried creating a custom tooltip page however this becomes a manual process as the tooltip doesnt automatically filter for the definitions needed. I would therefore have to create a seperate tooltip page every time.

as the tooltip doesnt automatically filter for the definitions needed

Why not?  That should be automatic through the data model?

The Purview data (with the definitions) is coming from a different data source from the company data. There is no connection between the two data sets.

include the definitions relevant to the report

please describe what "relevant" means in this context.
