Hi,
So I have created a date table with Dataflow Gen 2, which is then upstreamed to Datawarehouse and then added to a senmatic model. I have define the table as Date Table and have created hierarchies but when this hierarchy is used in a visual in PowerBI, it's only showing number for months and quarters rather than Jan, Feb, Q1, Q2 etc.
I have ensured Time Intelligence are turned on in the global settings and but could not do so for current file due to the nature of the data source.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I have ensured Time Intelligence are turned on in the global settings
The recommendation is to always switch that off and use your own calendar table. There is no need to create a hierarchy, the visuals are smart enought to do that for you on the fly.
