Hey Community,
in the last Week i got a very good visual, but i think i do something wrong with my Code.
I think it isn´t implement like the Developer of the power bi visual tool want it.
And since last Friday my Visual do not work. So maybe you can help me make a clean solution for my goal.
My Data consists three Grouping Fields: Date, Status and the ID
and two value Data X and Size.
My first solution based on a table:
"dataViewMappings": [ { "table":{ "rows": { "select": [ { "for": {"in": "ID"} }, { "for": {"in": "Date"} }, { "for": {"in": "Status"} }, { "for": { "in": "X"} }, { "for": { "in": "Size"} } ] } } } ],
But in most examples they use categorical data mapping. But with that kind of mapping i can only set two grouping fields. One for the category and one for the grouping. Each other field are not shown.
In the end i need the categorical data mapping for my colorSelector. The colorSelector only work with categorical datasets. So since Friday before Friday my old solution works fine. But i think that is not the way i should do this.
Hi @Mcburn,
I have a similar issue than you, could you post what you've done to resolve your problem ?
Thanks in advance 🙂
