HI Microsoft Power BI Team,
I am currently utilizing Snowflake as a data source within Power BI, leveraging the DirectQuery connection method. I understand that the Snowflake team has implemented RLS (Row-Level Security) on specific tables. My query pertains to how this functionality interacts with Power BI.
Will the RLS configurations defined within Snowflake automatically apply to data retrieved through Power BI using DirectQuery, or will it be necessary to establish separate RLS rules within Power BI as well?
It will be automatically applied, assuming they use the same authentication method.
Thanks @lbendlin Is it mandatory that I have to use direct query for this or RLS will work in composite model also.
