I have a web MVC 5 web application with Azure AD Authentication. it is connected to our company domain.
The application record in the AD authorizing my custom app and Power BI to connect.
My website is working fine - users can connect using our company credentials, the custom power BI code is able to connect as well and access resources on Power BI. However user is being asked twice for the same credentials.
Is there any way to re-use credentials from MVC Azure AD authentication framework to get access to the Power BI API?
Thank you.
Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue.
I'm not sure if this is still an issue for you but I was able to solve this by following the https://github.com/Azure-Samples/active-directory-dotnet-graphapi-web example which authenticates the user against AAD and then passes that token in when calling the GraphAPI.
