Server side report filtering

Hello,

Im looking to see if there is anyway possible to retreive filters from the server side client.

Language: C#

We use report.getfilters on the front end but we want to check to see what filters can be applied from our backend so we only display filters to the user those that can be appied. Does anyone know of any functionality to get that, Ive played around with the backend functions for reports, datasets, pages but nothing similar to getfilters on the client side.
