Relationship. Dim table column can't create a relationship with the Fact table. Zero Duplicates.

I am new to this group and Power BI.  I have been working with it for several months and now getting more serious.

The fact table, I made query of one column, remove duplicates, sorted, and added an idex.  This....I thought would connected with a couple tables, but it won't even with the Fact table columns that I queried from.  Also four of these Dim queries DID work.

I would appreciate any help.

Hi @James-BQT,

I think you need to manually rebuild the relationship mapping between these tables because you remove the raw key field.
If you turn on the 'auto-detect the relationship', power bi will detect data model table fields and try to map them with similar name and type fields. (It does not mean they will auto use the new field to keeping original relationships)
