REST API with X-Auth-token and VIEW Method

Hi all,

I am trying to connect to a REST API with X-AUTH-TOKEN and VIEW method. This works fine in postman, but I am unable to connect in Power BI.

Firts I tried the Get data>>Web

But I receive a 404 error (not found). My guess is that it defaults to GET method, and not VIEW method.

Is there a way to write a blank query to use the VIEW method and x-auth key?

Hi @hvlfc ,

As far as I know, a REST API is an application program interface (API) that uses HTTP requests to GET, PUT, POST and DELETE data.

In Power BI, you may add the connection type you want before the url in URL Part.

like: GET http:...

You may refer to this blog to learn how to handle authentication.
