Hi Everyone,
First quick explanation what I am doing using REST API + master account (.Net NuGet package Power BI v3):
1. I have dataset created by Load option with 1 parameter inside + report which is using this dataset as source. (source for Load is SQL server + enterprise gateway installed on same server as SQL)
2. I'm changing parameter using UpdateParameters API. (TakeOver if necessary)
3. Waiting 30 min till updated.
4. Refreshing dataset.
5. Downloading report to pbix file.
Report looks good, refreshed with correct parameter value. So it's great..yay ;).
But when I'm openning report in PowerBI desktop -> Edit Querries, I see that parameter value is orginal one, which was set directly in service during my dev process. And now, when I press REFRESH in report, old parameter value is used to refresh data, so user will see different report.
Is there any way to update this parameter directly in report too?
