Hi,
documentation says this API https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/pushdatasets/datasets_gettables#table
should return a JSON Object of type Tables what should be an array of table objects what should contain meta information of columns.
But the only response I get on my request is:
{
"@odata.context": "http://wabi-west-europe-redirect.analysis.windows.net/v1.0/myorg/$metadata#tables",
"value": [
{
"name": "RealTimeData",
"source": []
}
]
}
Can I access the deeper structures and if yes, how?
best Peter
Hi @HInkelstein ,
This API only applies to push dataset, please check if your dataset is a push dataset. Please review the content in the following link, hope they can help you.
Getting started with Power BI Push Datasets via REST APIs
Best Regards
Hi @Anonymous , thanks for your answer! Yes, my dataset was created as streaming dataset with "historic data analysis" button set to on wich should result in a push dataset if I understood correctly. Pushing data by api and creating a report and a dashboard works also. The REST API Call GetTables is responded with 200 but I'm missing a deep table object in the JSON response telling me something about the columns of the dataset.
Thanks Peter
