Hello,
My issue is that I can't get my Gateway connection to work. So I can't refresh the data for my dashboards.
The error message in "Datasets->Gateway Connextion" is "Not configured correctly". I can't figure out the issue.
Now, my stack. I have a MongoDB database which is deployed on Mongo Atlas cloud. I successfully connect to it with Power BI Desktop thanks to an "Mongo ODBC BI Connector".
Then I uploaded my dataset and report to PowerBI app.
Now to refresh my dataset, I deployed a Windows VM (using AWS cloud because, except for powerBI, I am not using Azure). I then installed an "On premise Gateway" on it. My understanding is "On Premise Gateway" is a gateway instelled outside Azure Cloud even if is in AWS cloud. My point is, it is not a "personal gateway". The gateway is successfully installed, connected to my Azure/powerBI account and is successfully connected to Mongo DB.
In the power bi app, I can see my Gateway. But, as I said at the beginning, I have a message saying is "Not configured correctly" and the data refresh is not working.
Does someone has any idea about what could be wrong ?
Hi @Basti612
Did you setup the datasource connection on the service (clicking settings gear icon then Manage Gateways)
If so, are you getting a connection successful in there?
Did you add yourself as a User? Does your Data Source Name match what you have for your connection in the report? Can you screenshot your setup?
